James cut his teeth as the events and brewery tours manager at *Crate Brewery* in Hackney Wick, East London, where he developed an eye for uncovering hidden gems in London's craft beer scene. His tours took beer enthusiasts through the city's diverse and vibrant beer culture—each stop offering a new story and a refreshing pint.
In 2020, James’ adventures took him to Amsterdam, where the global pandemic put a twist on his beer journey. Undeterred, he pivoted to hosting online tastings, delivering over 200 virtual events to beer fans around the world. Now, with the world opening back up, James is back on the streets of Amsterdam and London, offering personalized beer tours, judging competitions, and hosting immersive in-person tastings.
